Solgaven (Home for the Blind) offers many amenities to it's residents including electric window shades, hand rails inside and outside on the walking path, textured art, fountains and an aviary with canaries.  Activities available to residents include audio news, book readings, outings to stores and crafts such as cloth weaving on looms, leather stitching of handbags and sewing of stuffed animals. The residents are served breakfast, lunch (hot meal), afternoon coffee, dinner (cold meal) and evening fruit.
