A tour of the local recycling plant in Ybor City

Waste Management - Tampa Bay Area Material Recovery Facility

Recycling material is delivered by the truckload

A bulldozer pushes the recycling material into the machine

A conveyor belt brings the recycling material to the top of the 3-story separating machine

Conveyor belts transport separated recycling material

The recycling material is separated into plastic, aluminum, steel/tin, cardboard and paper

The recycling material is bailed

The recycling material is ready to be transported to recyclers
